Puppy Class
Our puppy class is to enlighten their new owner/handler on all the do’s and don’ts with their new puppy.
In this class you will learn all about socialisation, toilet training, basic obedience and any behavioural problems your new puppy might be displaying. As part of socialisation, your puppy will be introduced to all types of garden machinery and to different types of surfaces.
The first 16 to 18 weeks of your puppy’s life are without doubt the most important for socialisation. Also referred to as the critical or sensitive period. In this period your puppy should be introduced to anything that he/she could encounter at some point in their life. When you puppy is introduced to something new it should be done in a positive manner.
It has been scientifically proven that puppies that have not been properly socialised can show extreme bouts of anxiety, separation issues and ongoing health problems with a weak immune system. They can also exhibit over exaggerated reactions to mild stimulus.
Puppies that have been properly socialised will develop normal behaviour because their brain has been properly stimulated and therefore the puppy’s brain will reach its full capacity which in turn will give your dog every chance of reaching it’s full potential.
Basic Class
Basic class is a continuation of puppy class or for anyone with a dog older than five months of age.
This class is exactly as the name suggests, we teach the very basics, such as sit, drop, stand, social walking and introduction into the formal heel.
We also deal with any behavioural problems your dog might have.
Intermediate Class
This is our most popular class, it is designed for those who want/need more from their dog and as well as a greater understanding of how their dog learns and thinks.
This class gives you the skills to teach your dog to be far more reliable and consistant.
We also teach you how to get your dog to focus on you, rather than everything else going on around you and your dog.
Advanced Class
Are you serious about having an obedient dog? Yes? Then this is the class for you.
In this class you will learn to teach your dog a rock solid sit, drop, stand stays and 100% focus in heel under distraction.
We also work on getting an extremely reliable recall, out of sight sit and drop stays.
Private Lessons (in home)
In home lessons are for those who have a demanding lifestyle and don’t have the spare time for obedience schools.
This is an extremely efficient way to get what you want from your dog.
